Has one daughter, Kelly Simon Nichols, who
teaches third grade in Olney, Maryland
- After high school graduation, Ms. Simon
participated in a FBI recruitment program and was assigned to
the Laboratory Division in Washington, D.C. After 13
years, she returned to school and pursued a career in the
medical field both clinical and business. Over the past 30
years, Ms. Simon has served as a medical assistant, office
manager, practice manager, and worked with the ETSU Rural Tract
Medical Program.
